Become a Mentor

Are you ready to share your knowledge and make a positive impact on the next generation? St. Vrain Valley Schools’ P-TECH program needs mentors to guide and inspire our students.

Why Become a Mentor?

Mentors will have the opportunity to:

  • Share Experiences: Help students understand how their studies apply in the real world.
  • Guide Students: Provide insights into your industry and help students navigate their career paths.
  • Challenge Students: Encourage them to think critically and creatively about their future.
  • Build Relationships: Form meaningful connections and pass on your knowledge to the next generation.

What’s Involved?

  • Personal Connection: Mentors will be paired with a P-TECH student, forming a valuable one-on-one relationship.
  • Flexible Communication: Engage with mentees through email, offering guidance and support.
  • Engaging Events: Participate in about 3-4 mentor events per year, focusing on your industry or exploring other fields.
  • Manageable Commitment: A few emails a month and attending mentor events make it easy to fit into your schedule.

Make a Lasting Impact

With just a small amount of your time, you can truly change the professional path of a student’s life. Your guidance can help them achieve their dreams and succeed in the world of industry and technology.
