Office of Professional Development
The Office of Professional Development provides ongoing support for all licensed, administrative, and classified personnel. Our goal is to build the capacity of all district employees through staff development that improves the learning of all the children we serve. The department also coordinates the induction program for personnel new to the district or their position.
If you are working toward a salary advancement, please refer to the LATERAL MOVE GUIDELINES on the Human Resorces Webpage.
If you are considering taking a class that is not related to an advanced degree, please use THIS FORM to submit that information to the Office of Professional Development for prior approval.
If you have a certificate that you would like have added to your SVVS transcript, please upload it to THIS FORM and it will be reviewed for possible credit.

Looking to earn your Doctorate in Educational Leadership?
St. Vrain is partnering (for a 2nd time!) with the Executive Leadership track of the Leadership for Educational Organizations @ CUDenver to offer a unique opportunity for current and aspiring leaders in schools and other educational organizations inpublic, private, and nonprofit environments to study with nationally- and internationally-known scholars and practitioners.
In-person classes for this cohort will be located at the St. Vrain Valley Schools Innovation Center. The three-year cohort program will begin in Summer 2025 and most students will complete their studies by Fall 2028. Courses will be offered in a hybrid format with some fully online offerings.
