Video accelerates coaching as it provides exemplars of practice, opportunities to norm practice and serves as a data point for inquiry into practice. In St. Vrain, our coaching is grounded in three models. These models support both video as inquiry and video as exemplar while keeping reflection and cognition of the teacher at the center.

• VI:  Video as Inquiry – Using video to support self-reflection and inquiry into instructional practice.
• VE:  Video as Exemplar – Using video to build teacher capacity
