Facility Use Scheduling System Update: Transition to FMX
St. Vrain has transitioned to FMX for facility reservations and event scheduling. Event Manager is no longer being used for new requests. The community reservation portal will open on July 15 for all public reservation submissions.

Temporary Field Closures
St. Vrain has made the difficult decision to temporarily close all district athletic fields and exterior play spaces from May 20 through September 2026 due to unusually dry conditions this past winter and a significant lack of soil moisture. Read more about temporary closures.

Updated Facility Use Rates
Beginning July 1, 2026, updated pricing will take effect for the use of district facilities. This adjustment supports the ongoing care and maintenance of our buildings and spaces while continuing to provide meaningful access for community use. Read more about facility use rate updates.

Facility Use

Most of the St. Vrain Valley School District’s schools and fields are available for use by community groups. Schools are centrally located in most neighborhoods and are a logical focal point for community activities. We support and encourage community use with priority given to youth activities.

2025-2026 School Year Timelines are posted below!

Athletic Timeline

Processing of contracts will begin 6 weeks prior to each season start. See below for season dates:

Fall Sports: August 17th – October 31st

Winter Sports: November 2nd – December 18th

Early Spring Sports: January 5th – March 12th

Late Spring Sports: March 22nd – May 31st

Summer Sports Requests (FIELDS ONLY): June 1st – June 30th / July 1st – July 31st

Auditorium Timeline

Auditorium event requests may be submitted beginning July 1.

July 1 – October 31 events: Reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Facility Use office.

November 1 – December 31 events: Approval decisions issued by August 30.

January 1 – June 30 events: Approval decisions issued by September 30.

Church / PTO / Scout Groups

Contracts to be submitted on July 1st, with approval by no later than August 29th. Please schedule a one-year contract with all dates.

All Other Events

Community event requests may be submitted beginning July 1. Approvals will be processed starting three months before the event date.
If you require approval earlier, please contact the Facility Use office.
