Boundary Discussions and Public Feedback

St. Vrain Valley Schools is one of the fastest growing and most innovative school districts in the nation. With the passage of the 2016 bond, it is evident that our community values public education, champions the success of our students and has strong trust and confidence in the future of our district.

Our construction projects in Erie and Frederick – a PK-8 and a PK-5 elementary – have advanced significantly. As new schools are constructed, new attendance boundaries must also be created to serve these communities, address growth and ensure every student is provided a world-class learning environment. Strong communication between the public and the school district is imperative as we develop new school boundaries.

During the month of October, St. Vrain Valley Schools invited the Erie, Mead and Carbon Valley communities to participate in boundary discussions involving these two new schools.

Community members had the opportunity to discuss multiple boundary scenarios, ask questions and provide valuable feedback to St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Planning Department. Below is feedback collected from these events, emails addressed to the Planning Department and online responses.
